Which cell phone plan is the best deal for $39.99/month?

They are all same price/month but I'd like some input on what you may think is the best deal?

1) 300 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, free calls to your "favorite 5" people

2) 600 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends

3) 1000 anytime minutes only

All are Tmobile plans

I've never had a cell phone before but it's about time I jump into the 21st century. I'd just like some opinions from those who are familiar with cell phone plans. Thanks in advance.
